Michael Goodman
Founder and President
Mr. Goodman, President, Chief Executive Officer and principal shareholder of the Tri City Group, has more than 40 years’ experience in the real estate industry. After graduating from UBC in 1972, Mr. Goodman joined the company his father had founded. Mr. Goodman continued to build and manage the Company’s extensive portfolio in B.C. and Alberta. Under his guidance, the Company also expanded into other real estate services, including property management, brokering, and mortgage lending.
Winston Wong
Senior Advisor
Mr. Wong has been a Senior Advisor to the Tri City Group for over 10 years, and a Director of several companies within the group since 2006. He has an extensive background in banking, having been the Marketing Manager of Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong for 20 years prior to immigrating to Canada in 1986. Before joining the Tri City Group, Mr. Wong invested in and operated businesses in the real estate development, retail, and tourism industries.
Mr. Wong has sat on the boards of several public companies, including Avcorp Industries Inc., the largest aerospace manufacturer in B.C., and Pyxis Capital Inc. He’s a Managing Partner of the Richmond, B.C. branch of the Desjardins Financial Services Independent Network, for which he has been a member agent since 2004. He is also a Director of CUAM Greater China Opportunities Absolute Return Master Fund managed by China Universal Assets Management, a major fund manager in China.
Ron Schuldhaus
Chief Corporate Counsel
Advising The Tri City Group on its legal matters is Ron Schuldhaus, who has 20 years experience in law practice, specializing in corporate commercial legal transactions including large mergers and acquisitions. He is a founding partner of Doherty Schuldhaus LLP, involved in all legal aspects of construction and land development, corporate/commercial matters, financing, tax and securities and commercial litigation. Ron graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting and finance, from the University of Alberta in 1984 and followed it with a degree in law from the University of Alberta in 1987.
Ayaz Virani
Cheif Executive Officer
Ayaz Virani advises on Tri City Group’s investments and mortgage portfolio. His keen financial analysis ensures that acquisition opportunities are profitable for the investor and the company.
Over the past 24 years Ayaz has raised more than $1 billion towards both residential and commercial project financings. In 1986 he co-founded the Home Mortgage Group Ltd. This experience has solidified his reputation within the industry as an expert in all aspects of commercial, construction and residential lending with special focus on private lending.
Ayaz received a marketing-management diploma (with honors) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Dean Goodman
Advisor
Dean Goodman provides valuable insight into architectural design and evaluating development opportunities for the Tri City Group. Dean is the founding partner of the decorated Levitt Goodman Architects Ltd., an award-winning architectural service provider in Ontario since 1989.
With an intentionally diversified portfolio, Levitt Goodman Architects have won numerous awards, both local and national, such as the prestigious Governor Generals’ Medal of Excellence in Architecture, the 2001 Peter J Marshall Municipal Innovation Award of Excellence, the CMHC Best Housing Practice awards, the Urban Institute ‘Brownie’ awards and several DX Design Effectiveness awards.
